Raw Pearls Sponsor Unley Gourmet Gala 2008

Raw Pearls was awarded the lead sponsorship for the Unley Gourmet Gala 2008, Tour Down Under event held on King William Road, Hyde Park on January 23rd 2008.

It was a special occasion with the awarding of Pro Tour Status to Adelaide beginning in 2008. The event drew a large contingent of interstate and international cyclists and supporters.

As Gold sponsor, Raw Pearls played a major role with Unley City Council organising the inaugural event. There was a natural fit with Raw Pearls becoming the Gold sponsor of the Tour Down Under event as Dyann Smith's father, Peter Pryor, was the Australian Representative in Track and Road Cycling Helsinki Olympics 1952.
